How about a tasty fresh healthy meatless meatball recipe to kickstart the week? Made with lentils, rice and our Pasta Lovers Chizou, this recipe is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser at your summer barbecues!
Ingredients
- 150g lentils
- 70g basmati rice
- 80g breadcrumbs
- 30g oats
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg or vegan egg (1 tablespoon of flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoons of water) - 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
- Herbes de provence
- 50 Pasta Lovers Chizou
Steps
- Cook the rice and lentils according to instructions
- Mix the rice, lentils and the rest of the ingredients in a bowl
- Let sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes
- Make balls with the mix
- Place the balls on a baking tray
- Sprinkle some olive oil on top and cook at 180° for about 30 minutes

The protein (meat replacer) is from lentils.
