End of Year party toasts sound good to you? We've got two options here and hope you get creative in making your own mini Chizou Party toasts!
For 12 Pesto & Chizou Mini Toasts
- A few slices of your bread of choice
- 150g of pesto (red or green - your call)
- 150g of our Pizza Lovers' Chizou
For 12 Tomato & Chizou Mini Toasts
- A few slices of your bread of choice
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- 150g of our Pasta Lovers' Chizou
Steps
Pesto Mini Toasts
- Cut the slices of bread into small square "apéro" style slices
- Spread roughly one teaspoon of pesto per square
- Cover with Chizou
- Pop in the oven at 180C for about 15 minutes until the cheese and the bread have browned & are crunchy.
Tomato Mini Toast
- Peel the tomatoes (with a peeler or by putting them in boiling water for a minute & then removing the skin)
- Cut in half, remove seeds & then cut into small cubes
- Mix the tomatoes with salt, pepper and olive oil
- Toast the bread slices slightly
- Peel the garlic, cut in half and then spread onto the spread
- Cut the slices of bread into small square "apéro" style slices
- Cover with one teaspoon tomato & then with some Chizou
- Put in the oven at 180C (grill mode) for about 10-15 min until the cheese has browned/melted to your liking.
